Axe Kick

The axe kick is one of the unique skills that develop through the taekwondo training. Initial requirement in performing the axe kick is the ability to lift the leg up high in a quick and smooth fashion. The axe kick is applied by striking the opponent’s face with the bottom of the foot on the downward motion. Needless to say this technique demands you maintain exceptional flexibility.
